A Bellman/Doorman provides exceptional customer service to Guests, maintains frequent contact with Guests by welcoming them on arrival, assisting with departures, overseeing delivery and safekeeping of luggage, and providing other services for all Guests.

What will I be doing?

As a Bellman/Doorman, you will deliver exceptional customer service, especially in handling luggage transfers and storage. Your interactions with Guests contribute to their first impressions, and you are expected to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Offer consistent, high-standard service and assistance to Guests, maintaining a courteous and attentive lobby presence
  • Ensure that individual customers and Groups receive fast, efficient, and friendly service
  • Keep the Manager on Duty or Bell Captain fully informed of relevant guest feedback and departmental updates
  • Deliver messages and faxes throughout the day as needed
  • Assist with room moves and luggage deliveries, manning the Front Door following all standard procedures
  • Handle and store luggage efficiently for arriving and departing Guests and clients
  • Maintain public areas and assist with the upkeep and functionality of equipment
  • Coordinate with Security regarding unattended luggage
  • Greet all guests warmly in public areas and rooms
  • Stay updated on hotel services, VIP guests, and special events
  • Be knowledgeable about external locations, attractions, and landmarks nearby
  • Inspect guest rooms and familiarize guests with their features
  • Respond promptly, friendly, and efficiently to guest inquiries and requests
