Job summary

Regis Corporation seeks a friendly Concierge/Bell Captain to provide exemplary member/guest service, escort guests to rooms, and communicate hotel amenities. You will greet guests, assist with doors, handle luggage, and coordinate with the Concierge team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role requires high school diploma and strong English communication, with an emphasis on hospitality, reliability, and professional appearance.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail in handling luggage, directions and hotel services.
  • Ability to learn Concierge procedures and transportation information.
  • Proficient in basic computer use: Windows, MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Report to work on time in proper uniform, clean and crisp.
  • Provide effective communication; read logbook and acknowledge guests.
  • Greet members and guests warmly and assist with doors and directions.
  • Escort guests to rooms and deliver luggage; ensure room is in order.
  • Explain room features and hotel services; answer questions and direct to Concierge as needed.
  • Transfer luggage during room changes and deliver mail, packages, flowers, etc.
  • Maintain lobby, front desk area, and bell stand; be present at posts when not escorting guests.
  • Assist Concierge desk as needed and support shuttle service to local destinations.

SUMMARY

To provide excellent member/guest service while escorting guest's to/from their rooms and providing information about hotel services; Food and Beverage outlets, the property, directions, the amenities in their room. Maintain the lobby area. Perform an important service role with regard to member/guest contact, knowledge of Concierge procedures and transportation services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

In addition to the following duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:

  • Report to work on time in proper uniform, clean and crisp.
  • Provide all forms of effective communication - Read logbook and
  • Provide name recognition in each interaction possible
  • Greet members ai1d guest with a warm
  • Opening doors of auto's and the Hotel upon arrival and guiding them to the Front Desk for an introduction to the Front Desk ·
  • Issues luggage claim tags to guests (for storage or room delivery).
  • Escorts guests to room and delivers
  • Places luggage in room and ensures that room is in order (i.e., vacant, clean) and acceptable to guest.
  • Explains room features to the guest, offer guest ice, and any further
  • Explains hotel services and Food and Beverage
  • Able to answer guest questions regarding services and should direct guests to the Concierge who can further assist
  • Transfer guest luggage when room change is
  • Carry luggage from room upon guest
  • Assist the Concierge desk as
  • Maintain lobby area, guest elevators and front
  • Maintain Bell Stand
  • When not esco1ing guests to their rooms it is expected to be at pre-assigned "posts".
  • Deliver guest packages, messages, faxes, mail, flowers and other amenities as requested.
  • Perfom1 other duties as assigned by Bell Captain or Lodging
  • On property Shuttle Service - Drive Member/Guest to requested location.
  • Being knowledgeable with all facets of transportation, on and off prope11y as well as providing.
QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Ability to achieve excellent member/guest relations and maximize member/guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer skills: Windows, MS Office, Visual One, Delphi.
  • Report to work on time, nearly groomed in proper uniform, with name tag properly displayed.
  • Must be personable and able to speak well over the telephone, interact with guests and conunicate well.
  • Needs to be familiar with hotel services to infonn and assist guests.
  • Must be able to promote hotel
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

High School Diploma; experience in Customer Service industry, good driving skills, and have a professional appearance.

LANGUAGE.

Must be able to comprehend and fully execute, written and verbal, the English language in order to communicate with co-workers, members and guests and fully understand job assignments.

LICENSES.

Must have current drivers license
