JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Bell person/Doorperson/Valet parking is to ensure the smooth flow of guests in and out of the Hotel.
As a Bell person/Doorperson/Valet parking you will engage in the first contact with guests of the Hotel and must always maintain a professional presence and attitude.
As a Bell person/Doorperson/Valet parking you must possess a fluid knowledge and understanding of the local area, community events, and activities available to guests of the Hotel and be able to drive standard and automatic vehicles.
JOB DUTIES (BRIEF)
Welcome and assist all arriving guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle. Assist guests with luggage to and from rooms. Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and directions. Ensure hotel entrance is free of litter and debris at all times. Respond to guest needs promptly in delivering items such as dry cleaning, newspapers, packages. Greet guests upon arrival. Perform valet ticketing duties. Drive guests' cars to assigned parking facility. Assess and note any vehicle damages. Follow all traffic regulations using extreme caution.
Minimum Requirements: Strong verbal communication skills Top level customer service experience Must be able to drive standard and automatic vehicles Valid CA Drivers license
Physical Requirements: 1. Climbing stairs 2. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds 3. Walking 4. Standing 5. Bending 6. Hearing and manual dexterity
