Job summary

Puppy Paws invites you to join our team as a Bellhop/Float, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of dogs in our playrooms. You will love the dogs, care for them, and provide excellent service to our four-legged clients while upholding Puppy Paws guidelines.

Open shifts with a wide variety of options; weekends and holidays are required. You must lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for extended periods, and communicate clearly as part of a compassionate, positive team focused on loving care.

Puppy Paws is open from 7am-7pm, 7 days a week.

Weekend shifts are split shifts and on a rotation, unless it is a holiday.

As a Bellhop/Float, your main responsibility will be the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our playrooms. You will be expected to LOVE the dogs, CARE for them and maintain a level of EXCELLENT customer service to our precious 4 legged clients! You need to be attentive and able to take instructions well. It is also important to exhibit cooperation and teamwork, and to follow and uphold Puppy Paws Guidelines. Our primary goals are:

• Focus on pet health & well-being by providing fun daily activities for pets
• Personal service – Knowing pups and their owners! We want to continually exceed our client’s expectations by building relationships and giving every dog the utmost attention and care they deserve
• Creating a fun and loving environment where pups enjoy spending time away from home.

Requirements

• Maintain EXCELLENT Customer Service, we have some precious four legged clients
• Weekends and holidays are required
• Oversee and interact with dogs of all sizes in open group play with 20-25 dogs with Comfort & Confidence
• Ensure the dogs are having a safe and positive experience by upholding our Dog Safety SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Follow and uphold Puppy Paws dress code
• Able to lift up to 50 lb
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
