Overview

Opportunity: Bell Person

Greet guests warmly at the hotel entrance, assist with transportation and storage of luggage, and provide other guest services.

Your Growth Path

Bell Captain or Guest Service Agent – Concierge or Guest Services Manager – AGM or General Manager

Your Focus
  • Load and unload luggage carts.
  • Tag and store luggage.
  • Escort guests to their rooms.
  • Provide an overview of guest rooms, hotel services, and amenities.
  • Make deliveries to guest rooms.
  • Assist guests with room changes.
  • Stock pantry supplies when necessary.
  • Maintain information on local attractions, transportation, churches, sports arenas, etc.
  • Perform house attendant duties during staff shortages.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental and hotel-wide guest satisfaction.
  • Follow sustainability practices aligned with HHM’s EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Your Background and Skills
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
Work Environment and Context
  • Work schedule may vary, including holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
