The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a friendly Bell Desk Associate at our Albuquerque property to escort guests, handle luggage, and ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

You will assist with shipments, explain room features, and maintain accurate service records while upholding our service standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in customer service.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.
  • Receive and mark baggage with claim checks.
  • Transport luggage to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles.
  • Arrange shipments of baggage, express mail, and parcels with weighing/billing services.
  • Assist guests with special needs.
  • Explain operation of room features (locks, ventilation, TVs).
  • Compute and complete charge slips and maintain records.
  • Deliver messages and room service orders and run errands for guests.

Meeting all performance standards leads to attracting and retaining a qualified workforce, provides opportunities for qualified team members, and contribute towards the ongoing success at Pueblo of Sandia today and in the future.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, banquet storage room by hand or using baggage carts.Arrange for shipments of baggage, express mail, and parcels by providing weighing and billing services.Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.Compute and complete charge slips for services rendered and maintain records.Deliver messages and room service orders and run errands for guests.Explain the operation of room features such as locks, ventilation systems, and televisions.Performs other duties as assigned.Must attend and complete are required departmental training.Builds professional relationships with guests while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.Additional ResponsibilitiesBuilds relationships with guests (or community, etc.) based upon respect while maintaining a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.Works collaboratively to deliver the highest degree of service to the guest.Key Performance IndicatorsThis position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success.
