Job summary

Helicopter Express is seeking a full-time Utility/Fire Bell 429 Mechanic with CDL qualifications. The role supports one of the largest utility helicopter operators in the United States, with extensive flight operations, training, and relocation flexibility.

Candidates must hold an FAA A&P license, have 2+ years of license experience, and demonstrate recent Bell 429 work with minimal supervision. The position offers competitive pay, insurance, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

Must pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening.
Must have FAA A&P license for at least 2 years.
Certified A&P mechanic with 18+ months of experience in the last 24 months.
Experience on Bell 429; 3 months field experience with minimal supervision.
Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on Bell 429 and related helicopters.
Work full-time as a Utility/Fire Bell 429 Mechanic with CDL qualifications.
Adhere to safety, regulatory, and company policies; travel as required.
Schedule is 12 days on, 12 days off, with operations based in Georgia and adjacent states.
