Belgium Sales Manager Dyes, Pigments, Inks m/f/d
Location: Home office in Belgium, Netherlands, or France
Sales Area: BENELUX
Education: Chemical Engineering or similar
The main purpose of the role is to grow sales through extensive customer contact.
Tasks
- Develop and implement sales initiatives and strategies to target customers for new business development.
- Identify and promote products to industries where dyes and pigments are used for new business development.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets, including participation in exhibitions.
- Visit customer sites to discuss needs, promote sales, assess relationships, and gather market knowledge from databases (Google, magazines, etc.).
- Generate leads and close new deals.
- Prepare sales budgets using CRM.
- Benchmark competitors by analyzing and collecting competitor information to improve sales strategies.
- Encourage lead generation through telephone conversations and exhibitions, following internal procedures.
- Participate in or attend exhibitions as required.
- Diagnose causes of customer complaints and provide solutions.
- Follow up on critical debtors.
- Set targets, evaluate, and monitor to ensure company goals are met.
- Discuss price quotations, sample requests, and projects utilizing in-house CRM, following internal procedures.
Requirements
- Sales experience in business-to-business selling.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and local languages.
- Extensive customer contact experience for product promotion.
- Technical and brief application knowledge.
- Excellent relationship management skills, persuading and influencing to generate and secure business.
- Ability to build powerful presentations to deliver sales messages and overcome resistance.
- Structured, persuasive techniques in a patient, calm, and effective manner.
- Proficiency in IT (SAP, SAGE, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Internet).
