Safeway Driving School MN in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a full-time, on-site Behind the Wheel Driving Instructor to teach teen students one-on-one and reinforce classroom learning.

The school offers both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel lessons for teen drivers at multiple convenient locations. Role Description:

This full-time, on-site Behind the Wheel Driving Instructor role is based in St. Paul, MN. The instructor will provide one-on-one in-car driving lessons to teen students, teaching safe driving techniques, traffic laws, and defensive driving practices. Daily responsibilities include assessing student skill levels, planning lesson routes, providing clear instructions and feedback, and documenting student progress. The role also involves communicating with students and families in a professional manner, reinforcing classroom learning during practical lessons, and ensuring the training vehicle is used and maintained safely according to company policies.

Must be 21 or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Must not have Gross Misdemeanors, Felonies, or DUI/DWI.

No teaching experience required — we provide paid training.

Work Hours:

• Full Time: 30-40 hours per week.
• School Year: Weekdays 12 PM–10 PM, Saturdays 6 AM–10 PM.
• Summer: Monday–Saturday 6 AM–10 PM.

Licensing and Training:

• We help you prepare for and pass two state exams (written and road test.)
