Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field required.



  • Licensed or license-eligible as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS) required.



  • Experience in the behavioral health field with:



  • Two years in a mental health setting preferred.



  • Two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

We are seeking a full-time licensed or license eligible Behavioral Therapist to join our Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) based out of Collegeville, PA.


Position Details


Earn $32.26/hour with license or $31.22/hour for license-eligible; plus mileage reimbursement


Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday; 40 hours/week


Position Details


The behavioral therapist plays a pivotal role in our community-based Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) serving Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties. They are responsible for collaborating with the treatment team members to assess, design, and direct the implementation of a recovery-oriented treatment and support plan. This plan uses a person-centered approach for children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide intensive therapeutic services in all types of settings, including but not limited to community living arrangements, schools, community settings, natural support residences, and more.



  • Lead development and monitoring of behavioral support interventions and/or collaborating with external behavior support professionals.



  • Provide individual and group treatment and support, choosing applicable modalities according to each individual's/family's needs and treatment plan.



  • Collect, evaluate, and present behavioral data through a functional behavioral assessment process.



  • Conduct trainings related to the implementation of person-centered plans.
