Job summary

PlayDate Behavioral Interventions in Colorado Springs is seeking energetic and compassionate Behavioral Therapists to apply ABA to teach social, self-help, academic, and living skills to children with special needs. We are a locally founded nonprofit dedicated to helping children through personalized intervention plans that support communication, emotional well-being, and learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness/ability to transport children in personal vehicle.
• Special needs experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention in scheduled locations according to policies and requirements.
• Engage in play, prompt social interactions, assist with community engagement, and prepare meals.
• Maintain training and necessary certifications.
• Collect data and work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Work with patients one-on-one and in groups to apply behavior treatment in daily life.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, family members, and other caregivers to provide effective treatment.

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Behavioral Therapists to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist with PlayDate Behavioral Interventions, you will have the opportunity to implement the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach social, self-help, academic, and living skills to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic intervention in scheduled locations in accordance with policies and requirements
• Engage in play, prompt social interactions, assist with community engagement, and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
• Maintain training and necessary certifications
• Collect data and work with a multidisciplinary team
• Work with patients one-on-one and in groups to incorporate behavior treatment into their daily lives
• Communicate with teachers, parents, family members, and other caregivers to provide effective treatment
