Job summary

PlayDate Behavioral Interventions in Colorado Springs seeks an energetic and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to implement ABA-based interventions, teaching social, self-help, academic, and living skills to children with special needs. This nonprofit emphasizes respect, care, and collaboration.

You will work at scheduled locations, collect data, coordinate with teachers and families, and participate in training to obtain national certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness/ability to transport children in a personal vehicle is required.
• Special needs experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention in scheduled locations in accordance with policies and requirements.
• Engage in play, prompt social interactions, assist with community engagement, and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Maintain training and necessary certifications.
• Collect data and work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Work with patients one-on-one and in groups to incorporate behavior treatment into daily life.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, family members, and other caregivers to provide effective treatment.

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Behavioral Therapists to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist with PlayDate Behavioral Interventions, you will have the opportunity to implement the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach social, self-help, academic, and living skills to our patients.
