A boutique behavioral health agency in the San Diego Metropolitan Area is seeking a passionate Behavioral Therapist to work with children with autism. This role requires an A.A., B.A., or B.S. degree, own transportation, and experience in ABA techniques. The agency offers professional development, including RBT training and mentorship from Senior Behavioral Therapists. The starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $24.25 per hour, depending on experience, with a commitment to work/life balance through scheduled hours Mon-Fri from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

ABAcus provides services to children with autism and related disorders and their families. Our focus is on early intervention and our clients range from 18 months to 10 years. We are a boutique agency seeking part-time and full-time behavioral therapists to provide services using techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis.

Responsibilities

The behavior therapist drives to homes of children and conducts sessions with each child. Experience with children with autism is preferred, and you must be able to PLAY while incorporating ABA techniques. The ideal candidate is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), has experience in running ABA programs and/or working with young children.

Requirements

• A.A., B.A. or B.S. degree
• Own transportation and ability to travel within and around San Diego county.
• California driver's license.
• CPR certification (this will be provided if the candidate does not have it)
• Negative TB test
• Consistent availability for scheduling
