Job summary

A specialized behavioral health agency in San Diego is seeking compassionate behavioral therapists to work with children with autism. The ideal candidates enjoy engaging with children while utilizing ABA techniques. Both part-time and full-time positions are offered, with support for RBT training and professional development opportunities. The starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $24.25 per hour, based on experience, with additional benefits including reimbursement for drive time and cell phone use.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or similar role.
• Ability to drive between locations in San Diego County.
• CPR certification, training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sessions with children in their homes.
• Implement ABA techniques during play.
• Participate in team-building events and mentorship.

ABAcus provides services to children with autism and related disorders and their families. Our focus is on early intervention and our clients range from 18 months to 10 years. We are a boutique agency seeking part time and full time behavioral therapists to provide services using techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis.

The behavior therapist drives to homes of children and conducts sessions with each child. Experience with children with autism is preferred, and you must be able to PLAY while incorporating ABA techniques. The ideal candidate is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), has experience in running ABA programs and/or working with young children.

Requirements:

• A.A., B.A. or B.S. degree
• Own transportation and ability to travel within and around San Diego county.
• California driver's license.
• CPR certification (this will be provided if the candidate does not have it)
