Job summary

Hillcrest Adolescent Treatment Center is seeking a part-time weekend role to support adolescent clients in a resort-like facility near Agoura Hills. You will supervise and assist clients, interact with therapists, and accompany outings on weekends to encourage rehabilitation and engagement.

The role offers weekend hours from 2 PM to 10:30 PM with pay between $21 and $24 per hour, and opportunities for extra compensation for relevant degrees or certifications and for prior residential mental

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in social services.
• Genuine desire to work with adolescents.
• Knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Valid California driver''s license and clean driving record (MVR).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: Internet, email and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic support regarding client care to ensure successful rehabilitation.
• Interact with clients, providing supervision and support.
• On weekends, accompany clients on outings (hikes, beaches, Disneyland, Universal Studios).
• Interact with therapists and teammates when working weekdays.

This is a part-time opportunity working Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. This hourly position starts at $21 to $24 per hour based on your experience. Additional compensation will be considered for the following:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Mental health-related certifications
• 3+ years of residential mental health experience

The Job

Reporting to the Program Director, you will provide basic support regarding the care of the clients to ensure they have what they need for successful rehabilitation.

Your Qualifications

• Working knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures for such illnesses.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Must have a valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards.

• Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, and MS Word.
