Rite of Passage Team is dedicated to improving the lives of youth by providing a normalized high school experience while developing transition and independent living skills. Since 1984, the Q-House has served this population.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety, around‑clock supervision, mediation, crisis management, and social, educational, and recreational support following the daily schedule.
• Monitor and document client behaviors and activities.
• Transport youth in company vehicles.
• Communicate any youth‑related concerns, behavior changes, emotions, academic progress, and overall disposition to ensure the treatment plan is adjusted to meet the youth's success.

Qualifications

• Be empathetic, patient, consistent, compassionate, and have an honest work ethic.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a bachelor’s degree or 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology.
• Have one year of previous experience employed as full‑time staff at a group home, short‑term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule

3/2/2/3 schedule with a 12 hour shift.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $21.00 per hour.
• $500 sign‑on bonus at 6 months of employment.
• $1,000 training bonus at 3 months.
• Full‑time employees eligible for medical insurance after 60 days, with dental and vision benefits after 90 days.
• 403(b) match of up to 6% after one year of employment.
• Paid Time Off available as soon as it accrues.
