Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) to provide compassionate support to individuals in crisis at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center.

This As Needed position offers 4 hours weekly with a monthly minimum of 16 hours, under supervision of the Triage Clinician Lead. You will help with daily needs, safety, and a welcoming environment, share observations with the treatment team, mentor new staff, and grow through training and

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least one year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met.
• Monitor safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (following L1MA training).
• Share observations and feedback with the treatment team to enhance care.
• Assist in keeping the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Act as a mentor to new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

As a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), you'll ensure individuals receive the care, comfort, and support they need during a behavioral health crisis.

Working under the supervision of the Triage Clinician Lead, you'll play an important role in maintaining safety, assisting with daily needs, and helping people feel supported and valued during a difficult time.
