Job summary

Aces for Autism in Winterville, NC is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver clinic-based 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism. You’ll implement individualized treatment plans, collect session data, and communicate with families and your clinical team to support progress.

We offer both full-time and part-time schedules, paid training, certification support, and ongoing supervision to help you grow in the field of ABA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally (required).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Track progress through accurate session data and notes.
• Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success.
• Stay physically active during sessions — sitting, squatting, playing, running.

Work Setting

This is a clinic based- ABA Therapy positon working 1:1 with childgren diagnosed with autism.

What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician (BT)

Being a Behavior Technician (BT) at Aces for Autism is both rewarding and fun—perfect for those who love working with people, being creative, and making a meaningful difference. You will:

Schedule & Hours

• Available Monday-Friday
• Full -time work hours
• 8:00a-5:00p
• 8:00a-3:00p
• 9:00a-6:00p
• Part -time work hours
• 12:00p-6:00p
• 3:00p-6:00p

Pay & Perks

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00 hour (based on experience and credentials)

Position Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Able to occasionally lift 50lbs (required)

About the Organization

Aces for Autism, a growing non-profit organization, currently serves Eastern NC children and their families offering clinic based 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism spectrum disorders in Greenville and Wilson NC. Construction has began on the new 23.83 acre Ron and Rose Bowen Family Autism Campus on Worthington Road in Winterville, NC.
