Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Behavioral Technician to provide direct 1:1 support to a student in a Riverside, CA school. This contract role focuses on implementing BIPs, data-tracking, and collaboration with teachers and supervisors.

You'll work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with up to $25/hour (DOE) and a weekly pay of $750. Start date upcoming 2026–2027 school year. Experience with children and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology or education is a plus.
• Experience with children or individuals with behavioral/developmental needs.
• Ability to follow structured plans and accept coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to a student throughout the school day.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill-building programs designed by a BCBA.
• Track behavior and skill progress with real-time data collection.
• Support the student during classwork, transitions, social interactions, and daily routines.
• Use evidence-based strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and build adaptive skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions.

What You’ll Do
