Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will teach new skills and support behavior modification while following the treatment plan and documenting services.

The role requires 1 year of experience with children, a HS diploma, reliable transportation, and completion of the 40-hour RBT training (Powerback can provide it).

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially neuro‑divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy following the treatment plan under supervision.
• Submit billing timely and document services accurately.
• Update availability in the EMR and notify Client Advocate.
• Maintain regular communication with Client Advocate and Supervisor.
• Adhere to BACB ethics in service delivery.
• Perform related duties as required.

Responsibilities

The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.

Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro‑divergent behaviors.

Reliable transportation.

Posted Salary Range
