Job summary

Cortica is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support 1:1 and small-group ABA services for children with neurodevelopmental differences in the Charlotte area. You will implement evidence-based strategies under BCBA supervision and document progress toward individualized goals.

Roles offer flexible part-time options, paid training, training on‑the‑job, and opportunities for career advancement while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, preferably with autism.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, high school acceptable.
  • Willingness to participate in paid training and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and neurodevelopmental differences.
  • Implement positive behavior strategies developed with the BCBA.
  • Use evidence-based practices to create meaningful progress for families.
  • Document session data to track and support treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
  • Follow Cortica’s crisis protocols, including de-escalation and reporting.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (experience with autism is a plus!).
  • High Schoolor equivalent,bachelor’s or master’sdegree.
  • Willingness to participate in our 2 week paid training in clinic.
  • Ability to consistently travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation.
  • Tech‑savvy with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
