Job summary

FullBloom is hiring a paraeducator to support students with diverse backgrounds in collaboration with teachers, delivering individualized, small-group instruction and targeted academic and behavioral supports.

You will monitor progress, administer assessments, document growth, and adapt materials. Required: high school diploma, RBT certification, and experience with students with special needs; preferred college experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• RBT Certification Required.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction as you implement the SESI academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conducting formal and informal assessments.
• Reinforce students’ learning by assigning tasks, using data to select materials, and completing one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, guiding independent study or enrichment, and providing accommodations as necessary.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques to ensure student safety.
