Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist - TPS in Washington to supervise coaching and daily living support for a caseload while developing new Life Enrichment Coaches (LECs). This is a full-time role with paid training and a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm shift.

You will help clients with emotional/behavioral regulation, assist with money management and personal care, document activities, and transport clients to engagements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Criminal background check cleared before working alone with clients.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities.
• Outstanding communication skills (listening, writing, speaking, reading).
• Ability to engage in critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise coaching and daily living support for caseload.
• Coach and develop Life Enrichment Coaches (LECs).
• Provide goal-based support and monitor progress toward goals.
• Administer medications as delegated and document accordingly.
• Transport clients to activities and appointments.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly forms and reports.
• Ensure clients' health and safety at all times.
• Assist with cooking, eating, and grocery shopping.

Summary

The primary role of the Behavioral Support Specialist - TPS is supervising all aspects of client coaching and growth through goal-based support as well as supervising daily living support for their caseload. This role is coaching and developing new Life Enrichment Coaches (LECs). This role is full time and offers paid training.

Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00am-4:00pm)

Salary

$20.00/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help clients with useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques as outlined in their individual plans.

• Help clients achieve their personal and program goals and evaluate the goals completions and denials.

• Assist with client money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT’s.

• Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more.

• Administer correct medications to clients and document the activity accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks.

• Transport clients to and from all activities and appointments and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate.

• Complete all daily/weekly/monthly forms, reports, and data sheets.

• Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions to ensure adequate health and safety.

• Assist clients with cooking and eating daily meals, and grocery shopping.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)

• Intermediate experience with supporting living, preferably with individuals developmentally or otherwise disabled adults.
