Qualifications

• Must meet one of the educational or professional tracks AND possess the required experience.
• Two years of direct experience with individuals with intellectual disability and/or autism.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation for travel within the service region.
• Successful completion of PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) to identify triggers and purposes of challenging behaviors.
• Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) with evidence-based strategies to build adaptive skills.
• Provide direct instruction to families, caregivers, and staff on BSP implementation.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, support coordinators, and families to ensure holistic care.

Education

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology

PA Licensure as Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW

BCBA or BCaBA certification
