Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work under an IEP, provide one-on-one assistance, and help implement individualized behavior plans within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves de-escalation, data tracking, and collaboration with parents and educators. Starting pay is USD 19.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for training and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
