Job summary

Serenity Cove MHRC in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Behavioral Specialist to join our clinical team. The role runs 11pm-7:30am on Sundays to Tuesdays, with a $23 per hour salary and a focus on behavioral health interventions and documentation.

You will assess, plan, and deliver counseling, crisis support, and symptom management while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (Psychology, Social Work).
• Experience with ABA and other behavioral therapies.
• Knowledge of safety precautions in behavioral interventions.
• 1-3 years in healthcare or behavioral health settings.
• Strong communication and documentation to ensure care plans compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and symptom management.
• Oversee a caseload and ensure proper documentation.
• Train staff on behavioral health symptoms and interventions.
