Behavior Specialist (8.00 hrs/day)

Shift Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)

SALARY: $86,211 - $104,745

196 workdays (14 District paid holidays)

Special qualifications including knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques related to mental health counseling for school-aged children and adolescents;
• Knowledge of effective and current assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for school-aged children and adolescents;
• Ability to guide students in developing skills and strategies for dealing with their problems;
• Ability to encourage students to express their feelings, discuss current and past experiences, and develop self-insight;

Experience:

• Previous experience as an LMFT, LCMFT, MSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LISW, LSW, LPC, LMHC, or NCC, preferably in a school setting;
• Experience working with parents and community;

Education:

• Master's Degree
