Job summary

San Diego State University invites applications for the Neta Lab Technician in the Psychology Department on SDSU campus in San Diego. This full-time, temporary role supports psychology and behavioral science research, coordinating participant recruitment, IRB compliance, data management, and study logistics.

You will work with faculty and students to maintain project timelines, prepare materials, and ensure confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications

• Experience with IRB processes and human subjects research.
• Experience coordinating recruitment and study logistics.
• Experience organizing and securing research data and documentation.
• Ability to prepare materials and consent forms.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets/Qualtrics and research platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Organize and secure research data and participant records.
