Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialise in providing comprehensive behavioural health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities.
A behavioural specialist is a healthcare professional who is responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care for their mental and behavioural health needs. The role of a behavioural program specialist involves working with the clinical staff at long-term care facilities to ensure best practices for maintaining adequate and accurate documentation of patient behavioural symptoms and conditions, coordinating care with facility staff and BHS clinicians, and summarising patients' behavioural records for submission to special needs programmes.
The ideal candidate will have already worked in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Behavioural Health Unit prior, providing a variety of services to patients/residents, CNAs, BHTs, Medical Assistants, and similar personnel are encouraged to apply!
This position will train with and report to a remote Clinical Supervisor for oversight on all cases worked.
Pay: $23 - 25.00/hr
