Description

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a dynamic candidate for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Neurology, specifically within the Behavioral Section. The role involves expanding clinical and/or basic science research programs, with opportunities for academic promotion based on excellence in education, research, clinical care, and community service.

Responsibilities include teaching, research, clinical service, administrative duties, leadership, and other roles. The candidate must be willing to care for patients with chronic neurodegenerative conditions, perform procedures like Lumbar punctures, and provide subspecialty care for patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and related disorders.

The position includes supervising medical students, residents, and fellows, leading teaching conferences, and participating in research projects funded by agencies such as NINDS, NMSS, and PCORI. Administrative duties involve data entry, developing critical pathways, and committee work. The role is hybrid, primarily on-campus with some telehealth work.
