Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience with handling live lab rats preferred.
• Experience with startle equipment and data processing is desirable.
• Team experience in a laboratory setting with rats as subjects.

Responsibilities

• Assist research team with health monitoring of laboratory rats and animal handling.
• Perform data collation, transformation, and descriptive/inferential statistics using lab equipment and PCs.
• After training, participate in training of students/new staff.
• Support behavioral neuroscience and pharmacology studies using MRI and behavioral assays.
