Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Campbell, CA is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to assess, diagnose, treat, and provide crisis intervention for adult and child members. You will collaborate with treating physicians and a multidisciplinary team to plan and direct individual treatment plans.

You will also prepare intake summaries and treatment plans, provide psychotherapy in various formats, and participate in on-call rotations as needed. A CA license is required or eligible within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare with a clinical track or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or LPCC with required endorsements within 24 months of hire.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Knowledge of DSM-V and experience assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for diagnosis and treatment of Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental illness.
• Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Instructs patients and families regarding adherence to prescribed regimens and medications; may conduct psychoeducational classes.
• Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains confidential records.
• Collaborates with physicians and health professionals to plan and direct each member's treatment program; may supervise junior clinicians.
