Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala seeks a behavioral scientist to join the Family Medicine Residency faculty. The role emphasizes educating and empowering the next generation of family physicians.

Qualified applicants include PhD-level psychologists, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers, or licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. The successful candidate will split time between psychotherapy and supervising residents, with teaching responsibilities and admin duties.

Qualifications

• PhD-level psychologists or clinically licensed therapists preferred.
• Experience teaching and supervising learners in an academic setting.
• Ability to provide psychotherapy to patients and support residency education.

Responsibilities

• Split time: 40% direct psychotherapy with patients, 60% supervision and teaching of residents.
• Collaborate with Program Director on accreditation, recruitment, scheduling, curriculum, and coaching.
• Serve on residency committees and support administrative duties of the residency program.
• Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
