Children’s Therapy Place, Inc. in Nampa, ID seeks a Behavioral Interventionist to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention for children aged 3–21 with developmental disabilities. The role involves data collection, collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor, and delivering family training as needed.

Positions are offered at multiple levels (Intervention Specialist, Intervention Professional, and Intervention Technician) with pay rates starting at $22, $29, and $19 per billable hour, respectively. DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent with supervised experience hours.
• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, ABA, or related field preferred for IP level.
• RBT training completed or HI eligibility before start date where required.
• Total required supervised hours and experience specified for each BI level.
• Reliable transportation and active car insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior intervention to clients aged 3–21 with developmental disabilities.
• Record daily data and maintain detailed therapy session notes.
• Communicate with clients and families on a set caseload; provide family training when needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor to support service plans and other team members.
• Support behavioral plans across settings (community, school, home).
• Transport clients to therapy sessions as needed.

Placement within the BI role is determined by qualifications, credentials, and experience. Additionally, a provisional Intervention Technician role is available for individuals working toward meeting the qualifications of an Intervention Specialist.****Daily Responsibilities:***** Provide 1:1 behavior intervention to clients, between the ages of 3 to 21, with developmental disabilities.* Record daily data and keep detailed notes during therapy sessions.* Maintain open communication with clients and families on a set caseload.
