Job summary

Tucson Unified School District seeks a dedicated counselor to support teachers, administrators and child study teams in behavior modification programs for students. Location: African American Student Services - 36th St & Campbell Area; FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day; Work Calendar: 10.5 month; Effective: 2026-2027 school year.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience with culturally diverse students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education or related area.
• Two years of experience working with culturally diverse students.
• Experience designing behavioral modification plans.
• Demonstrated experience with children who have been identified as having behavioral difficulties.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
