Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to psychiatric patients, including individual and group treatment, to achieve functional outcomes, maximize independence, and maintain health for individuals limited by cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, or adverse environmental conditions. The Occupational Therapist develops and implements therapy programs in an inpatient behavioral health setting, completes related documentation, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of occupational therapy experience in a behavioral health setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Master's or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
