Job summary

Unison Behavioral Health is seeking a BH Worker/Peer for a part-time position in Georgia. The role supports clients in a day program, assisting with activities and group services and transporting clients as needed.

The position requires 1-3 years of experience in mental health support, must be 21+, and hold a valid Georgia driver's license with reliable transportation. CPS certification is preferred and can be obtained within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional or personal experience in supporting mental health challenges or individuals with disabilities.
• Must be 21+ and have valid Georgia driver's license with dependable transportation for commuting.
• Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification preferred but CPS eligibility required; must obtain certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities and group service provision in a day program for clients with behavioral health diagnoses and/or co-occurring conditions.
• Assess treatment needs; develop, monitor and evaluate treatment plans and progress; facilitate interdisciplinary approaches.
• Monitor client performance and progress; transport clients to/from residence and to/from program.

BH Worker/Peer – Part Time

Location: Coffee Peer Program Closing date: Open until filled

Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience Range: $17 - $20. Additional compensation with certification.

Hours: Monday-Friday, it will vary based on needs.

General Description: Assists with activities and group service provision in a day program for clients with behavioral health diagnoses and/or co-occurring conditions. Accomplishes client care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring and evaluating treatment plans and progress; facilitating interdisciplinary approaches, and monitoring client performance.Will also assist in transporting clients to/from residence and to/from program.
