Job summary
Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, TN seeks a Tutor to assist students and teachers in meeting educational goals, providing direct student behavior management under supervision. Create a safe, therapeutic classroom setting and respond to crises with appropriate intervention.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; one year of experience with psychiatric populations is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required or highly preferred.
- One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population preferred.
- Knowledge of educational strategies addressing age-specific growth and development; limit setting and crisis and behavior management.
Responsibilities
- Assist students and teachers in meeting stated educational goals and provide direct student behavior management under supervision.
- Provide a safe and therapeutic classroom setting and respond to crises with intervention.
- Support overall classroom management and behavioral supports as part of the educational team.
