Job summary

Waypoint Recovery Center is seeking a part-time driver for onsite responsibilities in Cameron, South Carolina. The role involves transporting clients and staff to admissions, appointments, and events, with a focus on safety and timely execution.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/de-escalation training may be required, and prior behavioral facility experience is preferred. Hours are Monday and Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, with schedule adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• One or more years’ relevant work experience in behavioral facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activity trips, discharges, and other events in a punctual manner.
• Maintains seatbelt use and supervises passengers during transport.
• Completes transportation documentation and vehicle logs; reports maintenance issues.
• Provides verbal reports to incoming shift and adheres to on-call requirements.
• Acts as a positive role model and supports safety and effective communication on the unit.
