Job description

Summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity offers comprehensive behavioral health services for common primary care conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model.

Part-time and full-time positions are available:

  • Part-Time: 20-24 hours/week
  • Full-Time: Salary range of $60k-$70k + medical benefits + PTO (dependent on licensure & experience, prorated for part-time)

Flexible Schedule Options: 5 days, 1-9 pm M-F or 9-3 pm Saturday; or 4 ten-hour days, 2 days 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, 2 days 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices
  • Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities
  • Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
  • Maintain professional development as required by licensing boards
  • Complete documentation, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans promptly
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to overcome treatment obstacles
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment
  • Respond quickly to urgent or emergent needs
  • Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and at least 5 patients daily
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Relevant therapist license (e.g., LMSW-NY)
  • Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Experience with teletherapy preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Understanding of psychosocial aspects of health and illness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent short-term counseling skills
  • Experience with discharge planning
Compensation

Dependent on location and experience. Actual salaries may vary; we consider individual qualifications and experience.
