Job summary

The Gardens of Arkansas is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Therapists (LMSW, LCSW, or LPC) for adults with severe mental illness and developmental disabilities in residential communities.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Pre-employment checks apply and licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Current Arkansas licensure as LMSW, LCSW, or LPC.
• Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or community mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support client goals and outcomes.
• Educate staff on behavioral interventions and treatment recommendations.
• Assist with admissions, transitions, and discharge planning.
• Maintain communication with families, referral sources, and community partners as appropriate.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
