Job Description

SUMMARY : The Behavioral Health Therapist is part of the clinical care team and is responsible for completing the intake process, including a biopsychosocial assessment for clients referred for behavioral health and substance use services. The LCSW provides appropriate therapeutic or brief intervention services (individual, family, and group therapy) to clients based on identified needs.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master's degree in human services field
  • Fully Licensed to practice in the State of Florida
  • Experience in assessing and counseling individuals with chronic conditions
  • Qualified in Basic Life Support Techniques
  • Personal and professional qualities to work with the staff of the health center in a manner that earns their confidence and respect.

PREFERRED :

  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking
  • Bilingual Haitian-Creole Speaking
  • Experience treating substance use disorders
