Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will provide direct psychological services and treatment coordination on an Adult Psychiatric Division Unit (APD).
How does it get done?
Incumbent assesses patients to aid in determining diagnosis, treatment needs and recommendations, need for hospitalization, response to treatment and prognosis of patients. Provides documentation of assessment results using a standard format.

Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with treatment planning;
Experience working with providing direct effective treatment to patients;
Experience working with various psychotherapeutic modalitles;
Experience working with mental ill.
Minimum Qualification
Licensure in New Mexico as an LMSW, LISW, LMHC, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or LPAT and one (1) year of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
