Job description

The Center for Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Services (CPCDS) is looking for passionate Behavioral Health Therapist I’s to join the team! The CPCDS is an Addiction Medicine Services facility that treats co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Our program utilizes a harm reduction approach to treatment and offers a variety of treatment options from intensive outpatient, outpatient groups, individual therapy, medication management and collaboration with other ancillary support services.

Sign-On Bonus Details:

$5,000 for a 1-year contract

$7,000 for a 2-year contract

$10,000 for a 3-year contract


Responsibilities:

  • Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • Completes clinical documentation on the same day and provides necessary information for service authorization.
  • Reviews cases and serious patient condition changes with supervisor and clinical personnel.
  • Assesses changing patient needs and updates treatment plans accordingly.
  • Conducts assessments of new patients under supervision and implements treatment concepts.
  • Provides individual and group therapy, engages families in treatment, and educates patients on recovery.
  • Documents all patient-related activities according to guidelines.
  • Discusses additional service needs with the clinical team and refers patients to appropriate care levels and community programs.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings to review and update patient plans and monitor progress.
  • Maintains daily records of clinical productivity.
  • Creates comprehensive treatment plans for patients with varied needs.
