Make a Difference

The Behavioral Health (BH) Therapist Licensed (L) will work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds to improve health and wellness, promote self-directed lives, and help clients reach their full potential. Responsibilities include facilitating, monitoring, and providing evidence-based, culturally competent mental health and substance use services using practices such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, EMDR, ACT, and Trauma-Focused CBT. You will guide clients through their healing journey and help build resilience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC licensure in Indiana required.
  • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of mental health treatment experience.
  • Valid Indiana Driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.

Patients First

  • Provide effective mental health interventions including assessments, individual, family, and group therapies, and crisis intervention tailored to client needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct therapy sessions to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans suited to client needs.

Relationships

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care and resource referrals.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction (internal and external).

Integrity

  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with standards.
  • Practice ethically, including trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and non-judgmental support.
