Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Bucks County seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to support 24/7 residential operations across detox, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. You will assist intake, supervision, transportation, meals, and medications, while fostering a positive recovery environment.

Ideal candidates have a strong leadership aura, empathetic communication, and the ability to set boundaries; a High School diploma or GED is preferred, with CPR and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modelling recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services. This facility partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living - a collection of luxurious sober living homes - to give clients the opportunity to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care.
