Job summary

Decypher is seeking a Behavioral Science Specialist / Psychiatric Technician to deliver direct patient care and clinical support for behavioral health services in Texas. You will assist assessments, treatment, rehabilitation, and therapy while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and community resources. The role requires BLS certification, 1 year of post-graduation experience, and U.S.

citizenship. The position is on-site at JBSA Lackland/ Fort Sam Houston, Monday–Friday, with a 9-hour day

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Direct patient care experience in behavioral health is expected.
• Experience includes assessments, counseling, and coordination of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist in treatment and rehabilitation of patients.
• Perform basic assessments: psychiatric testing, interviews, mental status exams.
• Identify diagnoses and provide patient education.
• Monitor patient progress and document care.
• Coordinate care with agencies and community resources.
• Maintain treatment records and reports.
