Shift: Overnight - Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 10pm-6:30am

Founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists in the eating disorder space, ERC Pathlight now treats over 6,000 patients per year, operates more than 30 facilities in 9 states and delivers tele-healthcare to patients nationally. We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

As a patient care professional at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions, and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation. The BHT works under the supervision of the Nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients by providing patient supervision and support.

Your Responsibilities

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

  1. Milieu Management, including the following:
  2. Maintains daily program structure, by following program schedule
  3. Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by physician
  4. Work with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan
  5. Provide patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (may vary by location and program)
  6. Take patient vital signs, weights, urine Specific Gravity (may vary by location and program)
  7. Other nursing support duties as assigned
  8. Act as a secondary support staff in group therapy (may vary by location and program)
  9. Assist with morning routine and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in spa/bathroom
  10. Meal Support and Bathroom Monitoring, including flush checks for patients in the eating disorder program
  11. Complete documentation of patient observations, meals, and individual check-ins that occur during the shift
BHT I Must haves:
  1. High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  2. Associate's Degree (Preferred)
  3. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required)
  4. Psych Tech or CNA experience (Preferred)
  5. 6+ months of direct patient care/milieu experience (preferred)
BHT II Must haves:
  1. High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  2. 1 year of Behavioral Health experience (Required)
  3. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required)
  4. Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (for internal teammates only)

Compensation starting range for the Behavioral Health Technician I role is $22.32 - $23.38/hr.

Compensation starting range for the Behavioral Health Technician II role is $23.38 - $25.58/hr.

The range provided is for Washington-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience.
