Assists My Sister’s Place in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, providing daily community meetings, and assisting in various procedures. Works closely with the BSW, Residential Operations Supervisor, and transdisciplinary team, reporting any changes in patient’s mood or behavior in a timely fashion. When necessary, assists the BSW and MSP staff with pre-admission screening calls from referral sources and provides information about the program to callers. Serves as a 24-hour essential employee providing direct care to residents. Supports residents in achieving their treatment plan goals, including but not limited to learning and executing daily living skills, parenting, dietary, and recovery goals. The patient population includes pregnant and parenting women and their children (0-6 years old), receiving care for substance use disorders.
