Job summary

Munson Healthcare Careers is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct care and emotional support to patients in a therapeutic behavioral health setting. Like a nursing assistant, you’ll help ensure a safe, comforting environment where patients feel supported and respected.

You will build healthy relationships, perform documentation, and contribute to patient wellness through compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of college preferred.
• Nurse Aide experience on inpatient psychiatric unit preferred; CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.

• Nurse Aide experience with preference for experience as a Mental Health Technician on an inpatient psychiatric unit or previous psychiatric unit
• Possess or obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire
